At Encore Events, we believe planning should be just as joyful as the event itself, which is why we create a friendly, fun, and collaborative experience for everyone involved. We take care of every detail, so you can have a stress-free experience filled with moments of pure joy and connection, leaving memories that last long after the final encore.

Why Encore?

The best moments deserve to be lived again. Our name reflects the joy, connection and memories that make you wish for “just one more!”

Why MuNa?

MuNa is more than just a name, it’s us: Mukta and Nandita. MuNa represents friendship, creativity and our shared passion for bringing people together. It’s the heart behind Encore Events, reminding us that every celebration we design is rooted in collaboration, joy and connection.

Our Story

Our story began while working on creative Indian classical dance projects, united by a shared passion for Bharatnatyam, a traditional art form that blends grace and storytelling. We first met at Arizona State University during undergrad, where these projects sparked a friendship built on creativity and collaboration. Years later, when Mukta was planning her wedding, she took the lead in envisioning the details while Nandita stepped in to help with the planning and lead the day-of-coordination. Together, we brought the details to life while making the celebration seamless and stress-free. It was during this experience that we realized how much joy we found in creating unforgettable memories together. From there on, Encore Events by MuNa was established, built on the belief that every celebration deserves to be memorable.

Over time, she expanded into wedding planning, helping friends design and execute their special days. With creativity, organization, and an eye for detail, Mukta continues to channel her love for events into creating meaningful and memorable experiences.

Fun Fact: I’ve basically run my own mini bakery from my kitchen, I ship cookies and other baked goods all over the country, and have catered for events. I once made 300 cupcakes in one evening for an event!
